Let's Go Hakone - 9 (Hakone Tozan Cable Car)
The cable car rises 211 meters between Gora Station and Sounzan Station in virtually a straight line, covering the distance of 1.2 kilometers between the two points in approximately 10 minutes. The degree of incline is visible if you look down from the seats at the back of the cable car.

Features of Rainy Season - Teru teru bōzu
This is the traditional hand-made amulet made of tissue or white cloth. Japanese people believe that this amulet has power to bring fine weather and to stop raining.

Tako - age: kite flying
This used to be a popular pastime among children in the winter. Nowadays Kites may be flown for recreation, art or other practical uses. Sport kites can be flown in aerial ballet, sometimes as part of a competition. Power kites are multi-line steerable kites designed to generate large forces which can be used to power activities such as kite surfing, kite landboarding or kite buggying.
