Dango is a Japanese Dumpling made from rice flour, similar to mochi. Normally, three to four dango are served on a akewer. There are many different seasonings, such as sweet red bean paste "anko", a toasted soy flour "kinako", syrup made from soy sauce, sugar and starch "mitarashi" etc.
